Providing the Answers to Support with Investigations

What We Do?

We follow the NPCC Guidelines (formerly identified as ACPO) to provide you with a detailed and thorough report, our expert forensic investigators carry out a detailed analysis of your digital devices which where possible can uncover any information that can be vital to a case. This may include web and user activity, file access and modification dates, any USB activity, a detailed email history and chronology, file copying and deletion history.

Our findings can then be used in the form of an expert report to support any formal case in court.

Digital forensics investigations have a variety of applications. The most common is to support or refute a hypothesis before criminal or civil courts. Criminal cases involve the alleged breaking of laws that are defined by legislation and that are enforced by the police and prosecuted by the state, such as murder, theft and assault against the person.

Civil cases on the other hand deal with protecting the rights and property of individuals (often associated with family disputes) but may also be concerned with contractual disputes between commercial entities where a form of digital forensics referred to as electronic discovery (eDiscovery) may be involved.

Computer Forensics

Computer forensics is commonly used in both criminal law and corporate investigations; however it has traditionally been associated with criminal law, where evidence is collected to support or oppose a hypothesis before the courts.

As with other areas of forensics this is often a part of a wider investigation spanning a number of disciplines.

In some cases, the collected evidence is used as a form of intelligence gathering, used for other purposes than court proceedings.

As a result, intelligence gathering is sometimes held to a less strict forensic standard.

Mobile Phone Forensics

Mobile phone forensics is a branch of digital forensics focused upon the collection and analysis of data contained within mobile devices (tablets and phones) in a forensically sound way to ensure any evidence gained can be allowed in court proceedings.

Mobile phones today hold a lot of personal information including photos, texts, time of calls and web browsing histories among others.  All these can be recovered if previously deleted or lost to the owner.

Images, text messages and videos can also be recovered from mobile devices creating evidence on any infidelity suspicions.

Cell Site Analysis

Our expert team will examine the data in order to allow for a complete picture of an individuals movements, providing attribution to the device and present the findings of the investigation within a concise report, of which can be used as an incidental report within a court of law.

The use cases for the use of Cell Site and Call Data Analysis extend to:

  • Identifying specific locations in which individual and multiple mobile devices have been used.

  • Tracking the changes in physical location and produce a timeline against the usage of devices.

  • Identifying electronic contact between multiple mobile devices content, time and location-based.
